DIY Volume Control For Speakers

Materials Needed:
Stereo Cable
Dual Gang 6pin Inline Potentiometer(50k)
Solder
Ribbon Cable
Electrical Insulation Tape
HeatShrink

Tools Needed:
Soldering Iron
Lead Nipper
WireStripper
Needle Nose Pliers
Continuity Tester or Digital Multimeter to test Connections.

Instructions
1. Take a Stereo Cable. Cut it at the place where you would want the Volume Control to be.
2. Strip wires of the Stereo Cable.
3.Take the Dual Gang Inline Potentiometer(50k) and insert it into the Ribbon cable with the help of pliers

4.cut of the unoccupied pins of the Ribbon cable Connector using a Lead Nipper.
5.Strip the wires on the Ribbon Cable.
6.Splice the wires from the stereo cable to the proper pins as shown in the diagram

7.Finished Cable

ok so here's how it goes. i was searching for newer version of neuview player and i came to know that it has reverse playback feature. wee!!!
so i start playing a few movies backwards and wowww :D watching your favourite movie backward is soo much fun :D
as you watch things fall into perspective,hmm !! maybe not :p. for eg. reviving people with swords/knives, pulling out bullets out of bodies with guns :D

It so happens that you meet your friend after a long time who has been working out and has beefed up a bit and you deliberately don't bring up the topic in the conversation.
Then the friend will start the conversation by saying "Hey dude!! What happened yaar you have lost weight!!Dont you eat properly or what?You are nothing as you were before.Do you study a lot?This happens everytime :O
And then you can't even reply back that you also have been working out.Having said all this just start the conversation by saying "Do you workout?nice!!" and hopefully they won't pass comments about you :D

Breaking the Jinx

Every alternate Semester of graduation It has been the same story.
the dreaded ATKT(allowed to keep term).
The first sem,i managed to pass in all the subjects with little effort.
the 2nd sem,i thought i will pass this time too,but i got 5 kt's [:O] i.e KT in all subject,fortunately we have re-exams within a month and i cleared all the kt's.
the 3rd sem, i cleared all the subjects.
the 4th sem,i got KT in 2 subjects,i cleared the KT's thats a different story altogether
the 5th sem(final year of graduation),i cleared all the subjects way better then the previous semesters.
the 6th sem....... ???
Whats in store for me this time?considering the pattern i will be having KT's in the final semester.
now,I got to break the Jinx.
will the JInx be broken only time will tell.

i had to mention this.its not new that indian music directors have copied,that too note to note [:O].
sarang hae yo which is in korean language is way better and soothign then pehli nazar.
pehli nazar sounds like atif is moaning,nothign personal.
even i dun know what the song means but as it is said that music has no barriers it is gud to listen.
and gawd knows how pritam came to know about the original song.atleast he should have mentioned it or given credit

well this phenomenon,i bet everybody has experienced it.
ther is another kind of familiar stranger is when you see a person and u find great affinity towards him/her.you feel like i
have known this person for years and are compelled to strike a conversation with them.
this has happend to me several times.There was guy i met while playing football,he resembled my younger brother,i was compelled to talk to him.
then the other day there was a girl i saw in the bus and i was like,i know her,i have known her for years.
and the list continues.....
i am lookin forward to meet more of such ppl [:P].

news channels these days have become from news channels >>>>>>>> entertainment channels.
these channels have to operate 24/7 so they have to show fillers when there is no news around.
another way to survive is by "making news",literally,when there are no natural calamities,disasters these news channels do their own
bit by doing sting operations.some channels show what recent developments are going on in daily soaps while other show
some babaji doing black magic and stuff.its time the news channel to be responsible enough and serve the purpose they were created
in the first place.
not all news channel are like this,but most of them are.

Procrastination!!!

I am an awful procrastinator.I absolutely cannot work on projects,assignments,tutorials, u name it for college until the last minute. For example, I had something on the order of 16 weeks to do a project for graduation. I started a week ago. I simply cannot make myself work on something that I still have time left to do.
I guess there is always something happening in life..
You dont wanna miss any of it, living life is all about possibilities and change!!
So much can happen if ur willing to put effort into it...
Doing many things at once or not doing something at all is definately apart of our nature as humans!!

You wouldnt see an organised Chimp leaving something until last minute!! Its because we know we can!!
Perks of being who we are i guess!!
I hope this will change with time :)

Sometimes i wonder what i have been sent for in this world :P
may be there is some kind of master plan in which all is predefined and no 1 can change it.
all the bad,sad things that happen in life are happening for a reason.
i also think that if it is supposed to happen it will happen and things will automatically fall into right place. you don't have to try too hard.
suppose one might say that what if in the future someone invents a time machine and comes in the past to change the events wont he be altering "the plan",well then it was destiny that has planned for that person to invent a time machine and to alter the timeline.
i can go on and on this topic,more to come l8r :P.i will be happy whatever destiny has in store for me :)
once again, everything happens for a reason.

That nostalgic feeling

I just happened to stumble upon the old school album while searching for certificates.
It was then i was tranferred back into time wondering where people are now, being in wonder of where some people managed to be now.i realise change is a part of life and you cant live in the past but then there are days when I look back and wish that for even a day or two that I could relive that life with all my old friends from school/junior college.that ride on the school bus.
Somedays I really tire of expectations. Somedays I really wish that I just lived a simple life with few to no expectations on me from the outside world just being me and living life on my own terms. I know that it’s crazy and impossible, but I still dream about it from time to time.
Various factors are contributing for this feeling, but still i will continue looking through old albums,old school notebooks :P .

My Counter Strike Addiction

It has been 3yrs since i started playing Counter Strike. I still remember the day,it was Laxmi puja and i was out for shopping and just happened to drop by at PC Plaza sumthing,i dun remember the name of the shop, at matunga.
There i purchased Cs [:)].And till date I have been addicted to CS.Even after 3 yrs i just cant stop playin cs.its like it never gets old.my cs addiction can be accounted as one of the factors that i have stopped doing well in exams.
I dun remember the last time when i attended a social gathering,wedding.I have cancelled many outstation trips so that i can play cs to my hearts content.there have been days when i used to rush home after college so dat i could play cs.the black and blue mark on th base of my palm is due to excessive cs.Every person who plays a fair amount of cs has it.
Though the urge to play cs is diminishing over time,due to various reasons, i am not able to stop playing altogether.
All the things said above may sound gloomy,but nah i have enjoyed every minute of cs i have played.Cs has brought immense joy.no matter what ppl say i have followed what my heart says and that many a times gets me into trouble,well dats a different story.
till den happy fragging :) .
